Fall Winter 2024 : Invisible

This collection draws inspiration from the philosophy of “emptiness,” often veiled by “illusions” that lead us to see only the surface or the outer shell of things. The true essence of these things remains hidden within, restricted from being perceived by sight or even touch. Instead, it requires mindfulness and awareness to perceive the truth.

 

For instance, the waves of water we see are shaped and constructed by our eyes, yet in reality, water originates from invisible gases. It can transform its shape or evaporate into nothingness. This state of emptiness is, in fact, the true nature of water—and of all things.

 

This collection predominantly uses translucent materials, such as quartz crystal and recycled clear plastic, shaped to mimic the rippling motion of water and embedded with gemstones that symbolize the shimmering reflections on the water’s surface. Additionally, the collection features transparent eye-shaped symbols crafted from silver, serving as a reminder that even the organ of sight can project illusions onto us.

 

For this reason, Invisible is a collection that invites contemplation on the uncertain nature of reality, ultimately encouraging detachment and letting go.
